How to Improve your Health with Alternative Therapies

It is possible. NOW!  A Natural Self Clinic  knows it is because we’ve done it ourselves.

Yes,that is right.

Many years ago I was fully depleted and destroyed because of digestive problems that I believe were due to parasite infections from travel throughout Asia. I could barely stand or walk or get around and my previous energetic and full and healthy self was gone and replaced with a bereft and exhausted and very sick young woman who had lost her lust for life. After seeking out all the usual advice from the usual health professionals, to no avail, I began to research alternative medicine and therapies in the hope these could cure me.

Natural Alternatives for good health

Here’s a brief list of some of the changes I made:

  • stopped eating fried foods
  • introduced supplements into my diet – vitamin and mineral therapies
  • cut out white flour
  • cut out processed foods
  • cut out sugar
  • prepared balanced meals with protein, greens, fresh vegetables and some carbohydrates
  • increased daily water intake
  • introduced exercise

And lastly, I found a really great naturopath who gave me a thorough rundown and also gave me a once over with a vast array of fantastic modalities such as herbs, homeopathics, blood screening and Bach Flower remedies.  This approach suited me so much I became a convert and supporter of natural medicine and also became a naturopathic practitioner. Today I run my clinic from Hamilton Hill and share my wealth of knowledge with hundreds of clients who now come to the clinic to receive treatments.

And you can do the same.

Have a great day and enjoy being your natural self!

Softly Softly

Has it happened to you? Injury.

Most people think of injury and sports injury as breakages. Playing a game of sport or out jogging or cycling and the worst happens! You slip, fall or twist your body in such a way that you hear that almighty “snap” and the damage is done.

Change and Transition in Health and in Life

Change is not a bad thing.

In fact it is a necessary part of life. But we humans can find it quite difficult and often revert to stasis and rigidity as a way to cope with the complexities of the world.

When Fatigue is Chronic

Exhaustion can afflict anyone, anywhere and anytime. And normal fatigue operates as a signal or flag to your body that you are spent and need rest and recuperation. But what happens if exhaustion is simply a way of life and a state of being? What if no matter what you do, you just cannot seem to shake off that fatigue and tiredness?
